Skills and Benefits of Futsal Prep

By participating in our futsal prep program, players will gain enhanced speed in quick skill execution, improved ability to find open spaces in tight areas, and development of powerful kicking techniques. These skills are invaluable for futsal and provide a significant advantage when transitioning to outdoor soccer. Our program focuses on making your child a more skillful and effective player.

For futsal, kids generally need some basic gear

1. Indoor Futsal Shoes: Non-marking soles for good grip on indoor courts.

“Kids can wear regular indoor-appropriate shoes — soccer shoes are not required. However, soccer shoes provide extra padding in the front to protect their feet when kicking the ball, and they also fit more snugly, giving the feet better support and control.”

2. Comfortable Athletic Clothing: Lightweight shorts, a moisture-wicking t-shirt, and shin guards.

3. Shin Guards: Essential for protecting against kicks and collisions.

4. Socks: Long enough to cover the shin guards comfortably.

5. Water Bottle: Staying hydrated is key!
